On the meeting the Minister of Fisheries and the Maritime Economy of Guinea
On June 24, H.E. Mr. Alexey V. Popov, Russian Ambassador to Conakry, met H.E. Ms. Fatima Camara, Minister of Fisheries and the Maritime Economy of Guinea.
During this meeting, the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation were discussed in detail, with emphasis on the resumption of the work of the Russian-Guinean Joint Commission on fisheries. An exchange of views took place on ways to intensify scientific cooperation and on the training of managers for the fishing industry. Particular attention was paid to the issue of joint studies in the marine waters of Guinea.
H.E. Mr. Alexey V. Popov invited H.E. Mrs. Fatima Camara to participate in the VII International Forum of the Fishing Industry in St. Petersburg and the Exhibition of the Fishing Industry, Seafood and Technology next September.
