H.E. Mr. Alexey V. POPOV, Russian Ambassador to Conakry, visited one of RUSAL's companies
On January 5, H.E.Mr. Alexey V. POPOV, Ambassador of Russia to Conakry, accompanied by Mr. Marat KHAKAMOV, General Director of RUSAL's representative office in Guinea, visited «Compagnie des bauxites de Dian-Dian» (COBAD), which belongs to this Russian enterprise.
During the visit, the employers outlined in detail the history of the construction and the current state of one of the most promising complexes for the extraction and transshipment of bauxite in Guinea. The diplomat examined the entire transport chain of aluminum raw materials from the production to its export shipment.
RUSAL is historically one of the largest foreign investors in the economy of the Republic of Guinea. At the moment, this enterprise owns three large companies: «Compagnie des bauxites de Kindia» (CBK), «Compagnie Friguia» and the «Compagnie des bauxites de Dian-Dian» (COBAD).
