Reception in the Embassy in honour of the Victory Day (May 9, 1945)
The solemn reception in honour of the 74th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War with the participation of the Minister-Counsellor under the Office of the President Doctor Maramany CISSE took its place May 10th, 2019 in the Russian Embassy in Guinea. Members of Parliament, representatives of the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Security and Civil Defense, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Gendarmerie of Guinea, foreign ambassadors and military attaches, alumnus of Soviet and Russian universities, Russian military specialists, representatives of Russian companies and Association of the Russian-speaking women as so as Russian citizens living and working in Guinea participated in the reception.
In his greeting speech Russian Ambassador Vadim RAZUMOVSKIY emphasized the importance of the Victory Day not only for Russia, but for the whole world by marking: “During this day of the Great Victory we tribute to the memory not only to fallen for their country but also to murdered because of the Hitler’s politics of the “racial genocide”. We are honouring high and thanking from the bottom of our hearts veterans of War living with us”. At the same time Vadim RAZUMOVSKIY reminded of the importance of collective efforts to preserve and strengthen the peace during the forming of multipolar world’s structure as one of the most important lessons of the Great Patriotic War and of the Second World War.
After the Russian Ambassador’s speech the festive concert of pupils of the school under the Embassy was presented to guests. The solemn reception was completed by the stand-up meal.
At the same day May 10th, 2019 the Embassy led for the first time the action “Immortal Regiment”, in which near 80 persons, including Embassy’s collaborators, representatives of companies RUSAL and Technostroïexport and Russian doctors working in Kindia took part.
